Just got back from Hawaii...swam with a Turtle
Life is amazing! I just got back from HalewiaHawaii and I have a friggin sweet new job at a Graphic design company JV2.com and ya......life is SOOO amazing!

I turn 23 on Labor Day and Ro and his assistant Maleese are throwing me a huge bday party on Saturday! I am way excited!!! and Chase gets home in 6 months YAHOO!

Full story about the manager
On Saturday I met with a MUSIC Manager! She was in town with a client she is working with right now, her client is a 15 year old teeny-bopper girl...but her stuff is fun, This manager has managed for New Kids on the Block, Backstreet boys, and Pink...and other people too. Wellllllll.....Ro is choreographing this teeny-bopper girl's music video and he is making friends the manager and during one of their lunchs Ro asks if she is looking for other artists. She said "YA I am always looking for fresh talent." So he set up a meeting with her and I for like 20 mins on Saturday because she flew in from Florida to check on the music video. So she LIKES MY STUFF, she didn't even make me sing to her...and she turned down BRITNEY SPEARS because she didn't sing for her onteh spot!! hhahah (which she admittily regrets..haha) I gave her a bunch of songs I am working on and she said there are some that are "eh" but others she really really likes! :)! She said she would like to discuss managing me once she finishes launching teeny-bopper girl. She said it will be about 6 months. She said from now until then she wants to see me decided on 1 style and do some more songs in JUST that style and then also finish my music video. SOOOO, I am not counting my chickens before they hatch...but so far....ITS PRETTY STINKING COOL!!!!
In the mean time there is a movie that she is helping out on called "Letters To God" and she said they are looking for a song writer for it. So for the last 2 days straight I have been glued to garage band and I managed to lay down 3 song demos....verse and chorus mainly. I turned them into her and she should look at them sometime tomorrow.....cross your fingers for that too! Apparently..."McGraw" is going to be one of the musicians singing a song for the movie.....I don't know if that means TIM McGraw....or like his lil bro Donny-Bob "McGraw"
hahahaha.

Donna Wright
I am meeting with Donna Wright on Saturday. She was the starting manager for New Kids on the Block, Backstreet boys, and Pink. I am crossing my fingers that she likes me and give me good direction!

ya. the jonas brothers are my homeboys......k...not really....but we got to meet them and hear way too many blood curdling screams from WAY too many tweens.
Haha, it was fun! We were there representing the "Power In You" and I got to ask the previously approved question to them..."Why you do like volunteerism so much and why do you encourage your fans to volunteer in their communities." He has a very pretty answer...and they spoke SOOO quietly! Then a girl was there who had diabetes and she asked Nick what is was like being a performer with diabetes. He said its not so bad, it just forced him to grow up and be more mature and responsible about his eatting habits....he spoke with the volume of a wee mouse, and he is the most beautiful of them all....and he is also a germ-a-phobe AND is the best singer and musician...so I like him the best! haha. But they were all sooo super nice about everthing...hummm I wonder if I could get them to sing a song with me? I should make them visit my new website! www.xanbaker.com! its still a work in progress ...... so pardon the dust.
We went and introduced ourselves to them afterwards and they all said they thought my name "ROCKED" especially with an "X" oh yaaaaa! Melissa said I should have traded twinner vurly hair tips...cause lets face it....we have the same hair! hahah

Almost completely finished with a song!
Ok so I have been working my BUTT off trying to 100% finish one of MY songs. I have 11 that I want to put on my first album, but they are all between 60-80% finished. The one I am almost done with is called WORLD WAS HINDING. It is a fast, pop song. Hannah and chloe like it lot! Yahoo. Plus there is one I actually JUUUST started yesterday that I really like where it is going...its i called Juice Box....it is funny, and dancy and catchy! haha, well I am want 3 songs before I put them up on my myspace. I am really excited to get going!
I am going to go with my trainer (who I have become very fun friends with) to Florida to visit Ro towards the end of him putting together the High School Musical Concert Tour. He is down there for a month as the choreographer and so I am going to pop over and visit around the last week of May, Andrea is coming too because one of her good friends is a dancer in it, so her and I will room together! Plussssss WE ARE GOING TO GO TO DISNEY FRIGGIN WORLD!!! ahhhhhhh! i Know, you are jealous! Its ok....AND we are going to the beach!!! Helloooo Atlantic OCEAN! So I have been swogging (speed walking with jogging) 2 times a day for at least 15 minutes! Gotta get ripped! Plus since my trainer is going she is pushing me extra hard! ...i am sore today...haha.
I am hoping my boss will give me enough time to spend a few days and say hi to Mel in Indiana on the way, plus Frankie's Race Coach lives in Indianapolis and does...wait for it....MIDGET RACING!!! He said he would let us drive a midget car/truck thingy!!! His name is Bob.....he has a Calvin and Hobbes Border tattoo around his left bicep and "where the wild things are" monsters around his right....no lie...and that is Bob in a nut shell. Last time Frankie was in town we took Bob dancing after the race and he literally started to FREAK OUT (like pointing and saying "HOLY CRAP, THAT IS INCREDIBLE" over and over again when Ro started to bust out his Michael Jackson moves...I almost died I was laughing so hard! He is a super nice guy!
I have a vocal recital on Saturday night. They bring this steinway grand piano into this family's back yard and it is like forresty,grassy, gulley ampitheater thing, people come sit ont he grass and all of the students preform songs, aparently lots of people come. A few of my teacher's former students are coming....(former American Idol people....from last season) it should be lovely. I am looking at a few songs trying to decide what to sing. I want to sing a heart-felt ballad....I am choosing between

Impact Dance Arizona here I come!
So this impact dance convention is going GREAT! I am having a meeting with the investor to become a owner in the company! We are also going to discuss having a grand finale convention/contest in TOKYO at the end of August! Sooooo exciting!
The next one is Jun 19-20th...in PX ARIZONA....maybe I can sneak and see chase...hummmm.....he probably wont let me.haha he is s good missionary!

My Boss Celebrated Admin Day!
Ya so my boss rocks! For Administrative Professionals day (which my old boss didn't even know exsisted)
HE GOT ME A $50 gift card to Market Street Grill! AMAZING!
Infact this calls for a "Why I like my Job" list:
-My boss prints in COLOR, EVERY TIME!
-I get to re-organize his entire filing system and make everything pretty and clean!
-I get to design him a new Logo!
-Everyone is old and so all the new, fresh, and hip things I do get a SUPER stunned and amazed reaction.
-MORE $$
-Still Monday-Friday
-Direct Deposit!
-New Email!! (yeah for no more realtor junk mail in my box)

impact dance pre shoot
So cute Sammy Jo and Jacob let me use there super cute new house to do the prep for the impact dance convention photo shoot! Gev from So you think you can dance and an amazing Tapper , Lucas, are putting on a number of conventions and i'm helping out with some designs for them! Tonight is the official real shot! wish us luck!!!
